To be honest, I’m not shocked that the Panthers were able to bring on Quenneville. The general manager of the Florida Panthers, Dale Tallon used to work for the Chicago Blackhawks and had previously hired Quenneville to coach the Blackhawks.
Besides their friendship, Florida is a pretty attractive option for Quenneville. While the Panthers haven’t had much success, they have a solid roster and will only get better.
