Boqvist (Boke-Fist) is a Swedish born defenseman. He currently just finished his first season with the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) London Knights. This season, he put up 20 goals and 40 assists in 54 games. In the OHL playoffs this year, Boqvist, put up 10 goals and three assists in 11 games.
Boqvist, was selected 8th overall in the first round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. In his draft year, Boqvist spent time in the SuperElit J20 league, Swedish Hockey League (SHL) and in the Allsvenskan. He put up 14 goals and 10 assists in 25 games in the SuperElit league, in the SHL he put up no goals and one assist in 15 games, and in the Allsvenskan he put up 2 assists in 7 games.
