Alexander Ovechkin has put together one of the most distinguished careers in NHL history, and he added another milestone to his collection on Friday.
The 37-year-old scored his 801st career goal during the first period of the Washington Capitals' home game against the Winnipeg Jets, tying the legendary Gordie Howe for second on the NHL all-time scoring list.
