The Pittsburgh Penguins will play their second game under new coach Mike Sullivan when they visit the Boston Bruins in the Wednesday Night Rivalry game (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN).
The Penguins named Sullivan as their coach Saturday after firing Mike Johnston. It’s his first job as an NHL coach since being fired by the Bruins after the 2005-06 season. After that, he served as an assistant for three teams before working in player development for the Chicago Blackhawks in 2014-15.
Pittsburgh and Boston had a total of 94 shots on goal Monday, but neither won its game.
