The San Jose Sharks reportedly fired head coach Bob Boughner after three straight playoff-less seasons.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Friday that Boughner was informed he wouldn't return amid the team's search for a new general manager. TSN's Pierre LeBrun noted the rest of the coaching staff was also let go.
