PITTSBURGH -- Lightning goalie Ben Bishop had to be stretchered off the ice during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Penguins on Friday night because of a left leg injury.
After Tampa Bay's 3-1 win, Lightning coach Jon Cooper said Bishop was checked by doctors and X-rays came back negative
"Injuries are part of the game, and you never want it to happen to anybody on either team," said Cooper, who offered no indication on whether Bishop will be available for Game 2 on Monday night in Pittsburgh.
