Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane is in elite company when it comes to stringing together points.
With a three-point night against the Ottawa Senators on Dec. 3, Kane extended his scoring streak to 21 straight games, during which time he has scored 13 goals and 35 points.
Kane now holds the longest scoring streak in NHL history by an American-born player, and is closing in on Sidney Crosby's 25-game streak, which he set Dec. 28, 2010. Kane is also tied with Bobby Hull (1971-72) for the franchise record for points in consecutive games.
