Upon writing my first two articles on the Ducks off-season, which included the draft and re-sign phase, it’s pretty clear that the Ducks need a little bit of everything. They have several good prospects ready to make the jump for forwards, but none of them project to be game changers next season. The Ducks defensive core is filled to the bare minimum, and they need to address it. They also need a backup that will play close to 30 games, to take away the brunt of the work from the overly challenged John Gibson.
