The New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints game was an absolute scoring frenzy. The Patriots were winning 30-13 going into halftime. Both teams showed they can put points up in a hurry. For everyone doubting the Patriots after a rough Week 1 loss. This win should help people relax a little bit more. The Saints offense looked great, but the defense is hard to watch. Here are my three biggest takeaways from the Patriots win over the Saints.

1.) Tom Brady is just fine
After zero touchdown passes in the Patriots Week 1 loss, Brady shows the entire NFL that age is just a number. Brady threw for 447 yards, three touchdowns. The Patriots could have scored 50 in this game but the Patriots had a few injuries and took their foot off the gas pedal.
2.) The Saints Defense is really bad
The Saints defense gave up 30 points in a blink of an eye. The Saints offense didn't play as well either but giving up 30 points before the half isn't a good recipe for winning. The Saints in back to back weeks have given up 400 yards to opposing offenses.

3.) Gronk is Great when Healthy
Rob Gronkowski finished the game with six catches for 116 yards and one touchdown. He should have had two touchdowns but dropped one in the back of the end zone. Gronk left the game due to groin soreness. I'm curious to know if the game would have been closer if the Gronk would have fought through the pain. When on the field Gronk is the best tight end in the NFL and maybe the biggest mismatch at the receiver position, he just needs to stay on the field.
The Saints will play travel to Carolina and play the Panthers still looking for their first win. The Patriots will be home against the Texans in Week 3.
