Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor is a popular name, as he'd free up $9.4 million in cap space, potentially paving the way for the Bills to sign a free agent quarterback. Arizona Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson is another name to watch, as the Cardinals must free up space to make their own run at a free agent quarterback. Selecting #15 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Cardinals will likely miss out on Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, and Baker Mayfield. Peterson's release would free up $2.88 million in salary cap relief. Meanwhile, the Packers have decisions to make with wide receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. It's unlikely Green Bay can keep both, and the two receivers are coming off underwhelming seasons. Cobb's release would create $9.47 million in salary cap relief, while Nelson's release would free up $10.2 million in cap space.
