Zygi Wilf on Adrian Peterson: 'He's always had a good heart'

Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf addressed the media for the first time since September when he claimed the team made a “mistake” by activating running back Adrian Peterson following his arrest on child abuse charges.

Now that Peterson and the Vikings appear to have mended fences and the running back has returned to practice with the team, Wilf discussed the situation and Peterson publicly:

“He’s always had a good heart,” Wilf said (via The Pioneer Press). “He’s a great football player. We have great memories, and we’ll continue to have good memories with him.
