The San Francisco 49ers announced Monday they released veteran offensive guard Zane Beadles.
Beadles spent two years with the 49ers, appearing in 32 games and making 21 starts. He was in the final year of his contract and set to earn $3 million in 2018.
By releasing Beadles, San Francisco will carry $583,334 in dead salary cap money but save $3.5 million against the cap, per Spotrac.
