Seahawks running back C.J. Spiller was cut Wednesday as the backfield continues to regain its health.
The club signed fullback Will Tukuafu in his place.
Spiller signed with Seattle on Sept. 29 after being let go by the Saints due to others leapfrogging the former Clemson product in playing time. Spiller appeared in just two games for the 'Hawks, primarily contributing in a passing game role. The former first-round pick accumulated five receptions for 43 yards.
Spiller was a healthy scratch in Sunday's tie with Arizona, while C.J.Prosise was utilized on third downs behind Christine Michael.
