The Baltimore Ravens announced Thursday that they signed talented, but previously troubled strong safety Will Hill to a two-year contract extension.
Hill has been suspended three times since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2012. His most recent ban was six games and came prior to the 2014 campaign when he was a member of the New York Giants. The team waived him thereafter.
Baltimore picked Hill up last year and played him extensively when he was eligible to return. The 25-year-old appeared in 10 games and started eight, registering 42 combined tackles, four passes defended and a 44-yard pick-six.
