Bryant, 29, has seen his production decline over the past three seasons, when he's dealt with a host of injuries that clearly affected his explosiveness. He's no longer worth nearly the $12.5 million he was set to earn this season, never mind accounting for one of the highest cap charges among NFL receivers.
But one of the team's more beloved players, missing a half-step from his previous elite form or not, will be difficult for the Cowboys to replace as they look to steady after falling from 13-3 and the NFC's top seed to 9-7 and second place in the division a year ago.
