The best moment of the draft last night wasn’t the suspense of not knowing which quarterback Cleveland would take with the first pick. It wasn’t the Bills or the Cardinals trading up to pick quarterback and it wasn’t the never-ending boos that commissioner Roger Goodell received despite walking on stage in the company of three Cowboys legends. The best moment came just before the 28th pick of the draft.
“We are honored to have with us an extraordinary man who continues to amaze us with his unyielding determination and his unwavering spirit,” Goodell announced while Pittsburgh was on the clock.
