Whaley: Two first-rounders in 2018 a nice 'parting gift'

Former Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley didn't take any parting shots on his way out.

In an interview with Sirius XM on Monday, the long-time Bills executive said that he enjoyed his brief stint working with new head coach Sean McDermott and that it "wasn't uncomfortable at all," spending time with him on the draft despite Whaley's impending dismissal.

While his tenure will most likely be remembered for the king's ransom Buffalo paid for Sammy Watkins during the draft that also yielded Mike Evans and Odell Beckham, Jr.
