Week 2 Injury Aftermath

Pessimism on Sunday has turned to relative optimism today for Danny Woodhead, who suffered a nasty-looking knee injury while being tackled by Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith. The Chargers are reportedly optimistic that Woodhead "only" suffered an MCL sprain, which could mean anything from two to eight weeks out depending on severity for the talented receiving back, but is unlikely to end his season. As always, an MRI scan is scheduled for today to determine the exact extent of any damage.
