Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan is believed to have become the latest in a long line of Bears players to suffer major injuries this season. Coach John Fox has said that the team believes Trevathan has suffered "a substantial right knee injury." Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the injury is to Trevathan's ACL, which would obviously end his season. If the injury is a ligament rupture, Trevathan faces a race against time to be fit for the start of the 2017 season. A milder injury would shorten the recovery timespan, but any ACL injury is likely to see the linebacker placed on injured reserve.
