Webster shrugs at a short holdout from Mariota

All but three of the 256 draft picks from less than two months ago have signed rookie deals. Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, the second overall selection, is one of the few who has yet to agree to terms.

The man responsible for getting the deal done on behalf of the Titans isn’t sweating about that, yet.

“It’s going like most contract situations go about this time of year,” Webster told 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, via Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com, a sentiment that ignores Tennessee’s status in the single-team minority that hasn’t signed its first-round pick.
