Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley made a costly error during a tight game against the Redskins on Sunday.
Mosley picked off Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins on an ill-advised throw over the middle and raced toward the end zone. But as Mosley stretched for the pylon, the ball slipped out of his grip and bounced out of the end zone. Instead of a pick-six that would have given Baltimore the lead, it was a touchback that gave Washington the ball back.
Washington settled for a field goal on the following drive, pushing its lead to 16–10.
