WATCH: Antonio Gates, Philip Rivers get into it on sideline

It’s been a nightmare season for the San Diego Chargers, and things appear to be getting even worse.

The team brought a 2-7 record into Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and they trailed 12-3 heading into halftime.

The Chargers were outgained 254-91 in the first half, and it appears the team’s struggles on offense had an effect on its players.

Antonio Gates’ frustration boiled over on the sidelines in the second quarter of the game when he got into it with Philip Rivers. It sure looked like Gates said “I’m gonna beat your a——” to the team’s quarterback.
