Free agent defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins has decided to stay in the familiar NFC East after signing a one-year deal with Washington Monday. The 35-year-old pass rusher spent the past three seasons with the Giants.
Jenkins has split time with the Packers, Eagles and Giants in his 12-year career thus far. The 6-foot-2, 305-pounder started 39 games over three seasons in New York and had nine sacks.
Jenkins has 332 career tackles, along with 47.5 sacks and 20 passes defensed. He projects as a rotational depth signing, but one that still might offer some juice behind Chris Baker and others.
