The Miami Dolphins claimed Justin Hunter on Sunday during the NFL's waiver process.
The 6-foot-4 enigmatic receiver was waived by the Titans over the weekend after three seasons. Hunter caught 68 passes for 1,116 yards and eight touchdowns in his time in Tennessee. He never broke the 500-yard barrier in a single season.
Dolphins receivers coach Shawn Jefferson previously coached Hunter with the Titans.
Hunter has the physical gifts to stick on the Dolphins roster, but he will have a steep climb. Hunter will start buried behind Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker.
