Vikings owner sent his plane to get Adrian Peterson to Sunday’s game

Adrian Peterson looked like his old self when he rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-14 win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. He was a key in the team’s victory, and Vikings owner Zygi Wilf did whatever he could to ensure his star running back would make the game.

According to Minnesota-based reporter Larry Fitzgerald Sr. (yes, the father of the Cardinals wide receiver), Wilf sent his private plane to pick Peterson up and bring him to the game because the running back was with his wife, who was giving birth:

Adrian Peterson nearly missed Sunday 's game his wife delivered their son early Saturday &Peterson was with her.
