Shaun Hill did okay in Minnesota’s victory over the Titans. However, the Vikings need more out of their QBs going forward.
In my article on Sunday, I stated that despite his limitations, Shaun Hill was the best option at quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. The recently acquired Sam Bradford only had four practices and eight days in which to learn the playbook. Hill has had two years of practicing in the offense and had taken starting reps in the second preseason game this year when Teddy was held out with shoulder soreness. Finally, and not to be too dismissive of the Tennessee Titans, there was a fair chance that the Vikings were good enough that they wouldn’t require all that much on offense in order to defeat the Titans, improved as they were this offseason.
