The Minnesota Vikings and head coach Kevin O'Connell have agreed to a multiyear extension, the team announced Tuesday.
Terms were not disclosed.
The Vikings are also working on an extension for general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday.
O'Connell led the Vikings to a 14-3 record this season and is 34-17 in three seasons as the team's coach. The Vikings have reached the postseason twice under O'Connell, losing in the wild-card round each time.
He is the first coach in Vikings history to post multiple 13-win seasons and became the fastest coach in franchise history to achieve 30 wins, doing so this season in his 46th game.
