Kirk Cousins has officially thrown his first pass as an Atlanta Falcon.
The Falcons shared a video Thursday of the veteran quarterback throwing to wide receiver Darnell Mooney.
Cousins is in the process of recovering from surgery on his torn right Achilles tendon in November.
The Falcons' video marks a progression from recordings taken earlier in Cousins' injury recovery, when the quarterback threw without moving targets:
Cousins suffered the non-contact season-ending injury on October 29 in what ended up being his final game with the Minnesota Vikings.
