Miami quarterback Cam Ward was the first player of the board in the latest 2025 NFL mock draft from ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and Field Yates.
Ward was projected to go to the Tennessee Titans with the top spot, while two-way standout Travis Hunter went to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 2 pick. This left quarterback Shedeur Sanders, Hunter's Colorado teammate, available to be slotted to the New York Giants at No. 3.
Next, LSU tackle Will Campbell was projected to the New England Patriots before Penn State pass-rusher Abdul Carter went to the Jacksonville Jaguars to round out the top five.
