Denver Broncos safety P.J. Locke said things got "ugly on the sideline" during Monday night's 41-32 win over Jameis Winston and the Cleveland Browns.
"Defensively, it was an ugly game for us. It was ugly," Locke told reporters after the win (h/t Denver7.) "Didn't play near to the standard all game. And when it came to putting the game away, we had some guys step up. That's just one of them games. It was testing our chemistry, testing our connection.
"Stuff got sort of ugly on the sideline, too, for a second. Our leaders had to pull everyone together, like, 'Just stay together.
