It may be a few weeks out yet, but Victor Cruz has set a target date for his long-awaited return to the field for the New York Giants.
The wide receiver on Thursday stated he believes he’ll be good to go for the Giants’ Nov. 29 game against the Washington Redskins, saying “after the bye looks like a promising date” for his return, per a tweet from the New York Daily News’ Ralph Vacchiano, via Pro Football Talk.
The Giants, 4-4 and in sole position of first place in the weak NFC East, have games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots before its bye the weekend of Nov.
