Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio reportedly reached an agreement Wednesday to become the new head coach of the Denver Broncos.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the hire, adding the sides agreed to a four-year contract with an option for a fifth season. On Tuesday, 9News' Mike Klis reported the Broncos were deciding between Fangio and Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak.
Fangio is set to become a head coach for the first time after four decades of experience as an assistant at the high school, college and pro levels.
