Veteran center Chris Myers retires after 10-year career

Veteran center Chris Myers continued to look for work after being released by the Texans in March, including a visit with the Seahawks.

But Tuesday, he decided to stop looking.

The veteran center has decided to call it a career after 10 seasons with the Texans and Broncos, announcing his decision on SportsRadio 610 in Houston, saying “When you know, you know.”

He earned a pair of Pro Bowl berths with the Texans, for whom he started 112 straight games from 2008-2014. Originally a sixth-round pick of the Broncos in 2005, he was traded to the Texans in 2008.
