Being the "Ultimate Patriots Fan," Barbara Shippee's final wish was for others to support New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as he continues to fight the NFL over Deflategate.
Shippee recently died at the age of 74 years old. In her obituary, she had a rather unusual request, per the Providence Journal: "In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to 'Tom Brady's Deflategate Defense' as she was the Ultimate Patriots Fan or to the charity of your choice."
No matter how you feel about Deflategate, you have to respect the fact that Shippee's last wish had something to do with her favorite team.
