Ty Montgomery reportedly defied Green Bay coaches' instructions on kickoff, threw sideline trantrum

We already knew the best day of Aaron Jones' season was the worst day of Ty Montgomery's career, and now we learn that the two likely aren't mutually exclusive.

Montgomery's killer fumble Sunday that halted the Green Bay Packers' road upset bid of the undefeated Los Angeles Rams not only defied his coach's orders, but it also came on the heels of his selfish sideline tantrum only moments earlier, according to a report from NFL Media's Mike Silver.

The Green Bay Packers' reserve running back/returner, Montgomery, who lost his starting job to Jones, according to a half-dozen of Silver's Packers sources, launched his helmet and pouted after being removed from the series that directly preceded him fumbling after taking the ball out from two yards deep despite head coach Mike McCarthy telling him to take a knee.
