After a disappointing end to the 2015 season, the Falcons have come back in 2016 with a vengeance. They’re off to a 3-1 start and are two games ahead of the rest of the NFC South. Most of this success can be attributed to their offense and Matt Ryan.
Ryan has been regarded as one of the league’s better quarterbacks since he was drafted in 2008. Despite a solid career record, three Pro Bowl selections, and very good passing stats, he’s never found himself in the middle of the MVP conversation. At the quarter mark of this season, he’s the favorite for league MVP.
