NFL Week 16 - Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is currently in concussion protocol, according to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques. If Tagovailoa does not clear protocol, backup Teddy Bridgewater will take most of the starting reps on Wednesday.
Tagovailoa took a hit in the second quarter of the Dolphins' game against the Green Bay Packers where his head bounced off the turf. He did not miss any time and played the entirety of the second half without evaluation. Tagovailoa finished the game 16-for-25 for 310 yards with one passing touchdown and three interceptions.
This is Tagovailoa's third time in concussion protocol in three months.
