The San Francisco 49ers will have a new starting running back for the first time since the 2005 season now that Frank Gore is in Indianapolis.
While Carlos Hyde is the expected starter come Week 1, Reggie Bush, Kendall Hunter and Mike Davis will all compete for touches as well.
Bush is the newcomer to the group. However, he is expected to be a significant piece of the 49ers offense this fall.
General manager Trent Baalke joined Sirius XM NFL Radio and said that Bush and quarterback Colin Kaepernick are already developing a strong relationship.
