Jason Pierre-Paul has given up his vow of silence of late, contacting Giants General Manager Jerry Reese and his position coach Robert Nunn to re-open the lines of communication that were closed immediately after Pierre-Paul was injured in a fireworks accident on July 4.
Pierre-Paul’s reconciliation tour has moved on to head coach Tom Coughlin. Coughlin said Friday that he had a feeling that a call from Pierre-Paul would be coming and that he’d ask Pierre-Paul why he wasn’t at training camp. On Saturday, Coughlin revealed that his crystal ball was correct and shared an answer to his question that didn’t come as much of a surprise given Pierre-Paul’s contractual status.
