Tom Brady's Personal Memorabilia, Watch Collection Sells for $9M at Auction

Legendary quarterback Tom Brady had his personal memorabilia and watch collection auctioned off on Tuesday for an eye-popping total.

Per Eduardo Tansley of The Athletic, "The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady" auction by Sotheby's in New York brought in a combined total of $9 million. Among the items in the auction were Brady's Super Bowl LI playcard wristband, his 2000 NFL Combine shirt, his final college jersey and multiple high-end watches.

Eight hundred participants from 45 countries took part in the auction, which featured 41 items to bid on. The highest-selling item was a yellow gold Rolex Daytona "John Player Special" that Brady wore when Patriots owner Robert Kraft informed him that he would be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame.
