Tom Brady is not at Patriots practice this morning in West Virginia because he has a court date in New York to get to.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that Brady will indeed intend Wednesday's settlement conference in New York, according to a source apprised of Brady's plan.
The news is a surprise because U.S. District Judge Richard Berman said that the principals of the Brady case, including Brady and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, were not required to attend this settlement conference. It's unclear if Goodell will attend.
"We are not going to comment on our attendees in advance of tomorrowâs hearing," the NFL said in a statement.
