New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady attended his appeal hearing Tuesday, attempting to contest his four-game suspension, give further credence to his latest Super Bowl ring and defend his legacy.
The hearing lasted 11 hours, according to the New York Daily News' Gary Myers. From what ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting, Brady acquitted himself quite well:
Was told by person in today's appeal that Tom Brady's greatest ally was...Tom Brady. Offered explanations in all areas. Now up to Goodell.

Sports Illustrated's Michael McCann alluded to how much was at stake with Brady going under oath, per Schefter:
Tom Brady testifying under oath means he's putting his actual freedom on the line in arguing the NFL got it wrong.
