The Jacksonville Jaguars have picked their share of busts in the first round of the NFL draft in recent history, but that certainly wasn't the case in 2016 when they selected Jalen Ramsey out of Florida State with the fifth overall pick. He quickly blossomed into an elite cornerback and was a key member of a Jaguars team that came within a controversial call of making the Super Bowl after the 2017 season.
Ramsey's stellar play also comes with brash confidence, and his tenure in Jacksonville featured ejections, arguments and other distractions. After a confrontation on the sideline with coach Doug Marrone during a loss to Houston in Week 2, followed by a conversation with Jaguars brass in which Ramsey said "disrespectful things were said," Ramsey's agent asked the Jaguars to trade his client.
