The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded tight end Tim Wright for the second time in the past two years, dealing him to the Detroit Lions on Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Josh Katzenstein of the Detroit News suspects a player will ultimately be sent back to the Bucs in the deal, while also speculating that tight end Joseph Fauria is likely the player on the chopping block for the Lions with Wright heading to town. The team also has Eric Ebron and Brandon Pettigrew at the position, and it's unlikely the Lions will carry four tight ends on the roster heading into the season.
