ABC's Jeffrey Cook spoke to representatives for Tim Tebow and Delta Air Lines, who confirmed Monday the former NFL quarterback helped a passenger on a Delta flight survive a medical emergency.
In a post Sunday on Facebook, Richard Gotti said an older male passenger looked to be having heart problems. Various passengers organized to help the man. Tebow met with the man's family and helped lead a prayer before the plane touched down in Phoenix:
According to Lina Washington of KGET News in Bakersfield, California, Tebow also helped the man's wife get to the hospital once the passengers exited the aircraft:
A friend tells me @TimTebow just stepped up mid-flight to support and pray for passengers during medical emergency pic.
