Chicago Bears cornerback Tim Jennings pleaded guilty to reckless driving Thursday, according to Bob LeGere of DailyHerald.com.
Jennings will be on probation for a year and will serve 40 hours of community service, but he avoided being convicted of a DUI in his plea, per LeGere.
Jennings, 31, was arrested in Georgia in early January after being pulled over for driving 99 mph in a 65 mph zone, according to the incident report following his arrest, per the Chicago Tribune. Jennings said at the time that he was rushing to a parent-teacher conference, but the officer smelled alcohol on his breath.
