Tim Brown’s standout 17-year career earns place in Hall of Fame

After a 17-year career and six years as a finalist, Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders legendary wide receiver Tim Brown is now enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Brown thanked Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz for giving him the confidence in his abilities in college that allowed him to accomplish so much later in the NFL. Brown would become the first wide receiver to win a Heisman Trophy before embarking on a standout career with the Raiders.

Brown managed a standout career despite not having stability in the quarterbacks throwing him passes for the majority of his career.
