Carolina Panthers teammates Thomas Davis, Tre Boston and Greg Olsen took some time Thursday to discuss the unrest that has enveloped Charlotte, North Carolina, since Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed by a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officer Tuesday.
After Gov. Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency Wednesday night following protests that turned violent, per Jaweed Kaleem of the Los Angeles Times, Davis and Boston urged Charlotte residents to express their displeasure peacefully.
"For anyone out there listening to me now, this is not the way to fix the problem," Davis said, according to WCNC.
