Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead. And the Tennessee Titans are still not for sale.
The current owners of the team once again have declared that the team isn’t on the market, which may serve only to fuel speculation that they’re trying to play hard to get in order to drive up the price.
The latest denial came Thursday, in conjunction with the announcement of a 20-year stadium naming-rifts deal with Nissan.
“The team is not for sale,” interim CEO/president Steve Underwood said, via the Tennessean. “We have not had any discussions with anyone about selling the team.
