The 2021 Official National Football League Record & Fact Book lists the three longest punts in NFL history. The longest is a 98-yarder by the Jets' Steve O'Neal from 1969 and can easily be found on YouTube. The third-longest is a 93-yarder by the Patriots' Shawn McCarthy. It, too, can easily be found on YouTube. The second-longest is credited to the Chicago Bears' Joe Lintzenich from a 1931 game against the New York Giants. It cannot easily be found on YouTube.
Jeremy Snyder, who's the person behind the old DVOA transcription project, has a fascinating article at his site Quirky Research about Lintzenich's kick and how it made its way into the NFL record book in the 1970's.
